A 55 acre mixed use Business Park scheme. The land was purchased from 3i’s after they had experienced difficulties in progressing the development of this important employment site.
Since the site was purchased, outline planning permission has been obtained for up to one million square feet of B1, B2 and B8 development with a hotel, petrol filling station and roadside restaurants.
Two phases of infrastructure have been completed creating a fully serviced site. Approximately 12 acres have since been sold to Percy Dalton, Terence Barker, Buildbase and Mitchells & Butler, all of whom have built new premises. Carisbrooke Suon developed a new Days Inn 80 bedroom hotel on the Park, and recently it sold to a private investor.
Pre-lets have been completed for a Bus Park for Stagecoach, a 37,000 sq ft headquarter office/warehouse for HID and a 194,000 sq ft chill store for Culina Logistics.
Approximately 27 acres remain. Freehold or leasehold purpose built accommodation ranging between 20,000 to 250,000 sq ft can be provided within twelve months from agreement.
